Odelia Karmon is an advisor to the top politicians in Israel and is also a qualified Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist and Professional Coacher. She has recently published a book"Confidante", a very personal perspective of the inner workings of the Israeli leadership.
For the past 25 years Karmon was closely involved in the Israeli political arena, serving first as spokesperson to Benjamin Netanyahu when he was Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations in New York, then media adviser to the then Transport Minister, Moshe Katzav; media and foreign affairs advisor to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Foreign Minister David Levy.
Twenty years after working for Benjamin Netanyahu in the UN and in his early days in Israel’s Knesset, she returned to work with him in his capacity as Leader of the Opposition. Karmon holds a BA in English Literature from Tel Aviv University, an MA degree in Communication Arts from NYIT, as well as a M.Sc. in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy from Derby University.
