Marie-Christine Williams, survivor, author, speaker, captivates audiences with her story of anguish, disappointment, tragedy, horror…and ultimately, triumph, hope, and the unrelentless power of the human spirit.
For just a moment imagine your worst nightmare. Now imagine living it over and over for 7 years. That was Marie-Christine’s life from the age of 7 until 14. Abandoned when she was only 3 months old, abused by her father from age 7 to 14, and then running from death squads for 100 days during the 1994 Rwandan Massacre, Marie-Christine endured everything imaginable…and things unimaginable.
The power of her story comes from the realization that she’s been there. Very few audience members can hear her story and quietly dismiss it as “but she doesn’t understand”. She’s gone through more than what most people can fathom, but her story is not one of tragedy it’s one of triumph, it’s not a story of being a victim, but one of victory.
Marie-Christine has been motivating and inspiring audiences since 2014 when she published her book The Dark Side Of Human Nature, and started traveling the country as a keynote speaker.
